Tewkesbury Condos coming spring 2010

I just heard that the Tewkesbury condos in NW DC will be releasing in spring. BlueSky is the developer and is involved on several projects throughout the city including a lot on Montana Ave NW as well as the upcoming Benning Road metro project with Donatelli Development. They are an LSDBE.

If I were going to live in Baltimore...

I'd look for the best condominium with the best views. This one just came on the market at 23 Pierside Dr, Baltimore, MD 21230.

Condo near U Street

One of my favorite new buildings this year (despite its unreasonable price) is the Lacey Condominium. My favorite unit has to the the Northernmost facing unit of the building. The unit's deck looks right over the high school football field and on game nights I can only image the view of the game being perfect.

A Quiet and Serene Community - Bishops Gate

One of my favorite communities in the city has to be Bishops Gate. The original developer had to have been one of the most thoughtful in the city. Most of the units sit on two levels, some with vaulted ceilings, and while he could have constructed a much more robust, large building in the same place, he chose to create something unique and in a class of its own. The area happens to be very transient but from what I hear, many of the community residents have no intention on finding a new home - as if there were a better option.

Coronado DC - coming soon

In a few months the Coronado Condominium on Vernon St in Adams Morgan will be coming on line. I had the pleasure of previewing several of the units last week and was quite impressed. The developer, NOVO Development with the help of Bonstra, did a wonderful job. Most of the units have outdoor space, a decent living room and the larger units are massive. They were built with the owners lifestyle in mind, with breakfast bars, long deep granite and great lighting. More information can be found at BuildingDC.com.

The Axis Condos - a fantastic project

This past week I had the pleasure of touring the Axis Condominiums in Capitol Hill. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the finishes and design choices that Macy Development chose to finish the units.
